The part with "Susan," about three minutes in, is my favorite part (then again, Jayne is my favorite Firefly character).

It also takes some great jabs at Fox. "You're not going to show the pilot?"

I know it's been a month since I last posted, so I thought I'd say something.

As of this writing, I just finished making the comics for the theme song sequence for the pilot (but you won't be seeing those comics until January, assuming I don't mess up the year on the auto-update again).

I also saw the movie Serenity for the first time recently. I'll hold off any comments until I get around to actually making a parody of the thing. Also, on a completely unrelated note, check out this map of the verse!

I've decided that, for the near future at least, Losing Serenity will update every other day at 4:30 PM (U.S. Central Time). If that seems arbitrary, that's because it is. Sorry.

I'd like to start by thanking the Comic Irregulars. One of their comics, Darths and Droids, inspired me to get to work on a screencap comic of my own. Obviously, this is that comic.

I don't have a strip buffer right now, so updates will be irregular for some time. But I promise they will come.

The reason I don't have a buffer is because putting this on Smack Jeeves was a spur-of-the-moment decision. I made the comic today and registered on Smack Jeeves today, but I plan on continuing Losing Serenity until I've covered every episode of Firefly. All 13 of them (plus the pilot). And, unlike Fox, I'm going to do the episodes in order.

If you haven't already seen Joss Whedon's Firefly, you need to right now. As in, immediately. And that's all I have to say for now.
